There are so many different resources for creating engaging interactive classrooms online, and a lot of these resources are free or have free versions for education. Examples of these range from interactive websites, such as blogs and Facebook, to tools that aid online collaboration, such as Google Docs, Google Slides, and wikis. Anything that can be done in a classroom can now be done online. Below is a link to a jigsaw document I helped create that discusses the benefits and weaknesses of three tools that can be used for online assessment - TeacherEase, Eyejot, and wikis. All of which would be beneficial to an online learning environment.
