Learning Guides

Learning guides are succinct overviews of a module used to give students a single place to go when they want to know something about that week.  Maybe they want to know what they will be doing that week.  Maybe they want to make sure they turned in everything that was due that week.  Putting the learning guide at the beginning of the module gives them a quick reference to answer their questions.  Learning guides are also useful for the instructor.  Creating a learning guide helped me gather all the material I needed for each module and allowed me to think through how I would implement the activities and assessments each week.

Below are the learning guides I created for all 16 modules of my Introductory Biology class.
